Hi everybody,

OpenSign v1.7.0 has been released.

OpenSign is free software and licensed under the GNU LGPL.

OpenSign is a collection of applets providing client-side digital
signing functionality. OpenSign currently consists of two applets, one
for signing arbitrary documents and another applet providing logon
functionality.

Note that this is an unstable version of OpenSign. We recommend using
v1.6.3 in production environments.

The applets have been packaged and signed and are now available for
download at:

http://www.openoces.org/opensign/download.html

A demonstration of the applets has been set up at:

http://www.openoces.org/demo

Feel free do use the demonstration pages for testing purposes. Feedback
will be greatly appreciated.

Changes since v1.6.3:
- fixed access to Microsoft CryptoAPI keystore when IE runs in protected
mode on Microsoft Vista (bug #31)
- added a Java control panel keystore. Contributed by Félix García
Borrego <fgarcia at viavansi dot com>
- explicitly specify source file encoding (bug #52)
